[Note: Skincare is subjective. I would be reviewing different products hereafter, so keep an eye on the "ProductReviews" section of the blog. You can look out for skincare products reviews in near future.]
Plum Green Tea Toner currently retails at Rs. 312 for 200ml. I bought this product after hearing tons of good things about it. But is it worth a shot? Let's find out.

The brand describes this product as :
"Natural, alcohol-free astringent, antioxidant skin toner.
Thoughtfully formulated natural toner without the drying effects of alcohol. You can feel the astringent effect of green tea, while the gentle exfoliation of glycolic acid helps remove dead cells and debris from your skin.
Alcohol-free
Alcohol has been traditionally used in toners because it can shrink pores. However, it is well known that alcohol can irritate and dry skin. This alcohol-free toner is 100% free of ethyl alcohol or its derivatives!
Organic green tea extracts
A great natural astringent (tightens pores), green tea is also anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and provides the skin with nourishing anti-oxidants to decrease the signs of aging.
Glycolic acid
More famously used in peels, glycolic acid is an AHA (alpha hydroxyl acid) that helps keep skin refreshed and renewed.
GOODNESS INSIDE:
Glycerine is a non-comedogenic emollient that keeps the skin soft.
SUITABLE FOR:
Oily & combination skin types. Specially formulated for acne-prone skin.
100% VEGAN, CRUELTY-FREE & SAFE:
Like everything Plum, this product is 100% vegan, paraben-free and phthalate-free. Plum does not test on animals.
As we all know, brands always claim to provide something or the other to entice the customers to potentially buy their products. Mostly the claims seem too good to be true, especially in the skincare realm. Likewise, this product also has a huge list of claims
& let's dissect it between Pros&Cons.
PROS:
It mildly exfoliates the face, since it has AHA- Glycolic Acid in it.

CONS:
The ingredients has "fragrance" placed at the last of the list, which means that fragrance is the least used content by quantity in the product. Though a good placement of fragrance in the ingredient list, we can not turn our heads from the fact that fragrance can be irritable to sensitive or acne prone skin. And since this product targets to oily & acne prone skin, this is not a good ingredient.
I didn't notice reduction of acne.
I didn't notice any reduction of blemishes.
I didn't register any noticeable difference in the tightness of by pores.
I did not notice any additional softness to my skin.
Even though it claimed to be non-comedogenic, I did notice some congestion on my skin like tiny skin colored bumps after using this product which went away after I discontinued using it.
Since the product is natural, it has a lesser shelf life which means that the product will turn bad(expire) quicker than other non-natural products. This toner has a life of 6 months after opening the seal & sadly it turned bad even before reaching 6 months. It changed color which is a normal occurrence for natural products but what's not normal is that it started to give off a really pungent smell.
My experience with the product has been really disappointing. And I do not recommend it to my readers. That being said, skincare works differently for every skin type & differ from person to person. I won't deny that this is one of the best sellers for Plum(the brand), and since it is affordable so its upto you if you wanna test it out for yourself. But just keep in mind that this product has Glycolic Acid in it which shouldn't be used alongside the ingredient - Vitamin C in the same skincare routine.
