#Back To College

Chilly winter weather makes us end up looking like a ball of fluff. Previously, I too had to go through that same hassle. But all that it takes to get out of that loop is experimenting with your style and trying on the same pieces from your wardrobe ,just in a different order. For example, instead of hiding the shirt completely under the wraps of your sweater, let it peep out a little through collar, cuffs and waist end.

A similar example is putting a tiny leather jacket over bulky sweaters and letting it peep out.

So following are few options, that will keep you girls warm and are wearable enough for college.

And keeping in mind, that we are gonna use the same wardrobe pieces in different ways.

OUTFIT 1:

A black turtle neck tucked in high waisted jeans , carried with a statement belt and pendents that pop out over the black top.

Another optional accessory that can be incorporated in the look is a scrunchy. Courtesy to the movie "All The Boys I've Loved Before", scrunchies are back in fashion and I'm so up for this trend.

Scrunchies look great when worn in hair and around one's wrist as well.

This look can be worn up by adding a woolen cap too.

When in doubt, just throw on a denim jacket and there you have a perfect layering item. Wear a thick body warmer underneath for added warmth.

The makeup's attention is kept at the bold red lips which complements the black top.

A muted transition shade on lids and little winged liner is all that's done on eyes.

The base is kept matte.

OUTFIT 2:

A loose sweater gives an illusion of effortlessness. This look is really casual and the pattern of stripes can never go wrong. The false shoulder is something that is quite in trend these days too. Layer your pendents and you are good to go.

Add a black denim jacket to dress up(by now you could have guessed how much I use this layering technique). A woolen cap can be worn as a color blocker.

P.S. I bet you will look extra cute while fiddling with your cap.

OUTFIT 3:

Yet again, a very raved trend of cropped sweater. Girls love everything cropped from tops to their sweaters. And there is no better color to rock it in than red. It looks even better when worn with high waisted jeans and a statement belt.
